Huntersville, NC (December 30, 2020) – Around 7:48 a.m. on Wednesday morning, December 30, a truck accident with injuries occurred in Huntersville.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place on Hagers Road around the area of McCord Road. Police claim that a dump truck and a passenger vehicle collided with one another, leading to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One patient, who has not yet been identified, was trapped inside their truck and had to be extricated by fire crews. The injured victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
