Indian Trail, NC – Car Accident at Hawthorne Ln and Pecan Ave

Indian Trail, NC (October 9, 2020) – Around 10:45 a.m. on Friday, October 9, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Indian Trail.

Few details have been released but it is believed that the crash took place at the intersection of Hawthorne Lane and Pecan Avenue when two vehicles forcefully collided. Police believe that the vehicles may have entered the intersection at the same time, leading to the accident. Both vehicles were badly damaged as a result.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were present at the scene of the accident where they helped those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
