Lexington, NC – Fatal Crash at Winston Rd and W 10th St Intersection

Lexington, NC (August 22, 2020) – Around 7:30 a.m. this morning, a man was killed in a fatal crash at an intersection in Lexington.

Police confirmed that a man was traveling north on Winston Road in a Porsche and collided with a Toyota SUV at the intersection of Winston Road and West 10th Street for reasons that are not yet known.

The driver of the Porsche, identified as Anthony Hill, was attempting to cross through the intersection at the time of the accident. Paramedics transported him to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital but was pronounced deceased while there.

Numerous responders worked the accident scene including the Lexington Fire Department, Thomasville Police, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances leading up to the collision.
