Matthews, NC (October 12, 2020) – Around 1:10 p.m. on Monday, October 12, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Matthews.
Though few details have been released regarding the collision, police have confirmed that the crash took place at the intersection of Idlewild Road and Stallings Road. The accident led to a wide array of damages to the vehicles involved in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they helped those in need. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
