Mebane, NC – Multi-Vehicle Accident with Injuries on I-40

Mebane, NC (September 26, 2020) – Around 4:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, September 25, a multi-vehicle accident took place in Mebane.

According to police, the collision took place in the westbound lanes of I-40 when multiple vehicles collided with each other for reasons that are not yet known. One of the vehicles involved was seen in the area on its side between a divider and another vehicle.

Two people were pinned in the vehicle and had to be freed by the Graham Fire Department. The parties were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
