Mint Hill, NC (September 2, 2020) – Around 7:25 p.m. this evening, September 2, a car accident with injuries took place in Mint Hill.
The accident, according to police, took place when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Albemarle Road and Blair Road. Police have not yet commented on the full circumstances leading up to the accident but it is believed that the vehicles collided when they entered the intersection at the same time.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though the full extent of the injuries is not yet known. The injured victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
