Pineville, NC (August 24, 2020) – This evening, police responded to the scene of a car crash at an intersection in Pineville.
Charlotte authorities responded to the scene of the accident around 5:10 p.m. when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Nations Ford Road and Westinghouse Boulevard. The vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, leading to the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. EMS crews assisted those with injuries, but the extent of the injuries is not yet known. The victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The intersection was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time while police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues at this time.
