Pleasant Garden, NC – Two-Vehicle Crash at NC-62 and Branson Mill Rd

Pleasant Garden, NC (August 20, 2020) – Around 5 p.m. last evening, August 19, a two-vehicle crash with injuries happened in Pleasant Garden.

According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of NC-62 and Branson Mill Road. A man was headed south on Branson Mill in his Geo Metro when he suddenly collided with a Hyundai headed east. The Geo then struck a Toyota SUV headed north toward the intersection stop sign.

Due to the first crash, another vehicle that was involved in the accident rear-ended a second vehicle at the intersection. All of the vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were quickly dispatched to assist at the scene of the accident. The driver and an adult passenger in the Geo were immediately taken to Moses Cone Hospital. The driver of the Hyundai was also hospitalized. Nobody else received injuries due to the accident.

Charges are pending and the investigation into the accident continues.
