Raleigh, NC – Head-on Collision with Injuries on Ridge Rd

Raleigh, NC (November 9, 2020) – On Monday night, November 9, a head-on collision with injuries occurred near an intersection in Raleigh.

According to police, the accident took place on Ridge Road near the area of Lake Boone Trail. Police confirmed that one vehicle crossed over the centerline, where it struck a vehicle headed in the opposite direction. The vehicles were identified as a sedan and a pickup truck, both of which sustained severe damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident. One person had to be extricated from their vehicle and was taken to the hospital with injuries. The extent of their injuries is not entirely known.

Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
