Raleigh, NC (September 7, 2020) – A woman has died after her involvement in an auto accident on a roadway in Raleigh.
The crash occurred on Western Boulevard at Boylan Avenue at approximately 8:10 a.m. on the morning of September 5. The details pertaining to the accident are currently limited.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the wreck that took place for reasons still under investigation by local police. Upon arrival, emergency medical technicians observed one woman had passed away due to injuries sustained in a traffic collision.
The deceased woman remains unidentified at this point in time as an investigation into the contributing factors of the crash is still pending.
The area of Western Boulevard where the wreck occurred was shut down for a period of time following the incident in order to allow first responders to work safely at the accident site. Police assessed the damages that resulted from the crash while fire crews cleared debris from the roadway in an effort to restore traffic in the area.
