Reidsville, NC (October 21, 2020) – On Wednesday, October 21, a woman was killed in a fatal crash on a roadway in Reidsville.
The accident, according to police, took place on NC-87 around the area of Lindsey Road. Police said that 56-year-old Patricia Pruitt was driving south on the highway when her vehicle and a vehicle headed north collided head-on. It then struck a Kia.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash. Pruitt tragically passed away at the scene of the accident. A passenger in Pruitt’s SUV was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The adult driver and passenger in the northbound vehicle were also hospitalized but are expected to be okay.
The roadway was closed down in the area for an extended period of time.
