Truck Accidents in North Carolina
Truck accidents are some of the most severe accidents on our roads. This is due to the fact that trucks are known for being some of the largest vehicles on our roads, which means that they are capable of causing immense destruction to smaller passenger vehicles. In 2016, reports showed that approximately 14,000 truck accidents occurred in the state of North Carolina alone. These accidents happen due to many different reasons including driver distractions, drunk driving, speeding, and many other related aspects. Many truck accidents occur when drivers are not abiding by the rules of the road but they can happen due to other reasons, too. If you have suffered the loss of a loved one due to a truck accident, it is essential that you have a skilled accident attorney by your side.
Truck drivers are known for being some of the safest drivers on our roads. They are supposed to keep logs of how many hours they spend on the road and abide by many other regulations that protect themselves, as well as others who share our roads. Though truck drivers are to blame for some accidents, there are other parties who could be at fault as well. Some of these entities and individuals include trucking companies, the cargo loader for the truck, manufacturers, and more. In the blink of an eye, a life can be taken due to a North Carolina truck accident. It is essential that you have a skilled wrongful death attorney by your side after an accident.
