Wake Forest, NC (September 22, 2020) – Around 6 p.m. on Tuesday evening, September 22, a three-vehicle accident took place in Wake Forest.
Though few details have been released, police confirmed that the accident occurred when three vehicles collided with one another on NC-98 around the area of Stony Hill Road. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol, paramedics, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, a lane of traffic was closed down in each direction. The scene was reopened around 6:20 p.m. after the injured victims were taken to the hospital.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
