Winston-Salem, NC – Serious Injuries Result from Car Accident on US-421

Winston-Salem, NC (September 22, 2020) – Around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, serious injuries occurred in Winston-Salem.

The accident, according to police, took place when the driver of a vehicle lost control and crashed, causing an array of serious damages to their vehicle. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of US-421 around the area of Jonestown Road.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident where they assisted those with injuries. The injured victims, though they have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The wreck closed down a portion of the highway in the area for an extended period of time.
