Apex, NC (June 11, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on the evening of Friday, June 11, a car crash occurred at an intersection in Apex.
According to Apex officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Morris Acres Road and Jenks Road when two vehicles collided. It is believed that two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time following the accident.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
