Cary, NC (December 4, 2021) – At 10:12 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, December 4, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred in Cary.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Crescent View Parkway and Tryon Road. A pedestrian was walking in the area when they started to cross the street at the intersection. They were suddenly struck by a vehicle that was also traveling in the area. It is believed that the vehicle remained at the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was injured as a result of the accident. They were hospitalized due to their injuries, though their condition is not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
