Charlotte, NC (April 8, 2021) – At 12:20 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, April 8, a car accident took place on a roadway in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Atando Avenue and North Graham Street. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles collided in the area after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized with various injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
