Charlotte, NC (January 4, 2021) – Around 7:25 p.m. on the evening of Monday, January 4, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Central Avenue and Carolyn Drive. The accident allegedly occurred when two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision. One or more parties were hospitalized as a result of the collision, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection until police cleared the scene.
