Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at E Morehead St & S McDowell St Intersection

Charlotte, NC (February 12, 2021) – At noon on Friday afternoon, February 12, a car accident with injuries occurred at a Charlotte intersection.

According to local officials, the accident took place at the intersection of East Morehead Street and South McDowell Street when multiple vehicles collided. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
