Charlotte, NC (January 12, 2021) – Around 6:40 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, January 12, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Idlewild Road and Conference Drive. Few details have been released but police confirmed that the vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
