Charlotte, NC (February 1, 2021) – At 2:25 p.m. on Monday afternoon, February 1, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Lasalle Street and Haines Street when two vehicles collided. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time until police were able to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues at this time.
