Charlotte, NC (January 31, 2021) – At 7:10 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, January 31, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Leroy Street and St. James Place when two vehicles collided with one another. It is alleged that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The accident led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
