Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Monroe Rd & Ashmore Dr

Charlotte, NC (January 4, 2021) – Around 12 p.m. on Monday afternoon, January 4, a car accident with injuries occurred at a Charlotte intersection.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the crash took place at the intersection of Monroe Road and Ashmore Drive when two or more vehicles collided. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
