Charlotte, NC (January 13, 2021) – Around 3:35 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 13, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte authorities, the accident took place at the intersection of North Sharon Amity Road and East Independence Boulevard. Few details have been released but it is believed that two vehicles collided with each other after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to assist those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
