Charlotte, NC (January 3, 2021) – Around 12:15 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, January 3, a car accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Old Providence Road and Rea Road when two vehicles collided with one another. It is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, causing the damaging collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
