Charlotte, NC (February 16, 2021) – At 3:25 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, February 16, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Old Statesville Road and Vance Davis Drive. Few details have been released but it is believed that two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
