Charlotte, NC (January 16, 2021) – At 9:50 p.m. on Friday night, January 15, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Park Road and Poindexter Drive when two vehicles collided with one another. The vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. Both were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The intersection was blocked in the area until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
