Charlotte, NC (February 11, 2021) – At 1 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, February 11, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Pecan Avenue and Rockway Drive. Few details have been released but it is believed that two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, causing the collision and extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
