Charlotte, NC – Car Accident at Rea Rd & Colony Rd Intersection

Charlotte, NC (February 6, 2021) – Around 10:15 a.m. on Saturday morning, February 6, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Rea Road and Colony Road. Few details have been released but police confirmed that the accident happened when two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
