Charlotte, NC (January 6, 2021) – Around 8:25 a.m. on Wednesday morning, January 6, a car accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of South Boulevard and East Boulevard when two vehicles collided with each other. It is believed that the vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. Both vehicles had extensive front-end damage and had to be removed from the roadway by wreckers.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment, though the extent of their injuries is not entirely known.
The roadway was blocked in the middle of the intersection for an extended period of time.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
