Charlotte, NC (February 15, 2021) – Around 11:55 a.m. on the morning of Monday, February 15, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to authorities, the accident took place at the intersection of South Tryon Street and Olde Whitehall Road. Few details have been released but police confirmed that two or more vehicles collided with each other when they entered the intersection. The vehicles involved were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
