Charlotte, NC (January 2, 2021) – Around 6:35 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, January 2, a car accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Sharon View Road and Eastburn Road when two vehicles collided. Few details have been released but it is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The accident led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash. They assisted those with injuries, though the extent of the injuries is not entirely known. One or more injured victims were taken to the hospital.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
