Charlotte, NC (January 5, 2021) – Around 2:45 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 5, a car accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at 5200 Piper Station Drive when two or more vehicles collided with one another. Few details have been released but it is believed that one or more of the vehicles lost control, causing the collision. Multiple vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the collision.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
