Charlotte, NC (January 2, 2021) – Around 12:40 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, January 2, a car accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.
Few details have been released but the accident took place at 4325 Providence Road when multiple vehicles collided with each other. It is believed that one or more of the vehicles lost control, which led to a damaging accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were present at the scene of the collision. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not entirely known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
