Charlotte, NC (January 8, 2021) – Around 6:35 a.m. on Friday morning, January 8, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at the intersection of Boyer Street and Old Dowd Street when two vehicles collided with one another. The vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
