Charlotte, NC – Car Crash at E Morehead St & Kenilworth Ave

Charlotte, NC (February 12, 2021) – Around 11:50 a.m. on the morning of Friday, February 12, a car crash with injuries occurred in Charlotte.

According to deputies, the accident happened when two vehicles collided at the intersection of East Morehead Street and Kenilworth Avenue. Few details have been released but police confirmed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with one another. The vehicles were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Their identities have not yet been released.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
