Charlotte, NC – Car Crash at Oakdale Rd & Old Plank Rd Intersection

Charlotte, NC (February 12, 2021) – At 10:55 a.m. on Friday, February 12, a car crash with injuries took place at an intersection in Charlotte.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Old Plank Road when two vehicles collided with one another. The two vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. Both vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims were taken to the hospital, though their conditions are not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection until police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released. Police continue their investigation into the collision.
