Charlotte, NC (February 12, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on Friday morning, February 12, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of Westinghouse Boulevard and Wilmar Boulevard. Few details have been released but police confirmed that the accident happened when two vehicles collided with one another after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.

The intersection was blocked for some time following the accident.
