Charlotte, NC (January 15, 2021) – At 11:20 p.m. on the night of Friday, January 15, a hit-and-run accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Little Rock Road and Fred D. Alexander Boulevard. Few details have been released but it is believed that two vehicles collided at the intersection, with one of the vehicles fleeing the scene. It is not known if the responsible driver was ever located.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
