Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Accident at Pavilion Blvd & N Tryon St

Charlotte, NC (January 7, 2021) – Around 10:10 a.m. on Thursday morning, January 7, a hit-and-run accident took place in Charlotte.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident occurred at the intersection of Pavilion Boulevard and North Tryon Street. Few details have been released but it is believed that two vehicles collided, one of which fled the scene of the accident. Police have not confirmed if they caught the party responsible for the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision. One or more victims, who have not been identified, were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The intersection was blocked in the area for a period of time until police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
