Charlotte, NC (January 30, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, a hit-and-run accident took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at the intersection of West 32nd Street and North Tryon Street when two vehicles collided with one another. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene after the accident. It is not known if the party was found by police.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash. One or more victims in the vehicle that remained at the scene were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
