Charlotte, NC (February 11, 2021) – Around 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, a hit-and-run accident took place on a roadway in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at 5505 Northstream Drive when two vehicles collided with each other. It was reported that one of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the crash. Police did not say if they yet found the driver responsible for the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those in need. Several victims were hospitalized, though their identities and conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing at this time.
