Charlotte, NC – Hit-and-Run Accident with Injuries on Lasalle St

Charlotte, NC (February 12, 2021) – Around 3:25 a.m. on the morning of Friday, February 12, a hit-and-run accident with injuries occurred in Charlotte.

According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at 1323 Lasalle Street when two vehicles collided with one another. Few details have been released but police confirmed that one vehicle struck another and then fled the scene of the crash. The accident led to severe damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time. Police did not confirm if they caught the driver responsible for the accident.

The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
