Charlotte, NC (January 9, 2021) – Around 3:40 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, January 9, a hit-and-run crash occurred at a Charlotte intersection.
According to officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Albemarle Road and Regal Oaks Drive. Few details have been released but police confirmed that one of the vehicles involved immediately fled the scene of the collision. It is not known if the responsible party was caught by police.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
