Charlotte, NC (January 4, 2021) – Around 5:15 p.m. on the evening of January 4, a hit-and-run crash occurred in Charlotte.
According to officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Arrowood Road and South Boulevard when multiple vehicles collided. Police have not yet commented on the circumstances leading up to the accident but have said that the involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result. One of the vehicles fled the scene and it is not known if the party has been located by police.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
