Charlotte, NC (January 30, 2021) – At 3 a.m. on Saturday morning, January 30, a hit-and-run crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Charlotte.
According to Charlotte officials, the accident happened at the intersection of East Sugar Creek Road and Admiral Avenue when two vehicles collided with one another. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the crash. It is not known if police were able to find the driver responsible for the crash.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene of the collision to assist those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized with unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
