Charlotte, NC (January 11, 2021) – Around 11 a.m. on Monday morning, January 11, a hit-and-run crash took place at an intersection in Charlotte.
Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident occurred at Sunset Road and Reames Road when two vehicles collided with each other. One of the vehicles immediately fled the scene of the accident. Police have not confirmed if they were able to find the party responsible for the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized as a result.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
