Charlotte, NC – Multi-Vehicle Crash Leads to Injuries on S Tryon St

Charlotte, NC (January 17, 2021) – At 11 p.m. on Saturday night, January 16, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Charlotte.

Charlotte officials confirmed that the accident took place at 4440 South Tryon Street when multiple vehicles collided with each other. Few details have been released but police confirmed that the vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene of the crash to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time until police were able to clear the scene.
