Charlotte, NC (January 10, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a motor vehicle in Charlotte on Saturday, January 9.
Local reports revealed that the deadly pedestrian accident took place on E. Independence Boulevard at around 12:30 a.m. that morning. The pedestrian was hit by a 2006 Honda Civic while traveling along the roadway. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the crash to render aid to the injured party.
The injured pedestrian was taken to a nearby medical facility where they were later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased victim has not been revealed at this time. No further information on the deadly accident is currently underway.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is being managed by local authorities.
