Charlotte, NC (January 18, 2021) – An accident reported in the Ashley Park section of Charlotte claimed the life of one teen on Sunday afternoon. At around 4 p.m., on January 17, the police, firefighters, and medical personnel in Charlotte responded to the scene of an auto accident on Berryhill Road.
Reports from the police show that a 14-year-old was riding a bicycle in the vicinity of Freedom Drive and Berryhill Road when they were struck by a Honda.
The victim, who was identified as a teen male, was transported to an area hospital for emergency medical treatment. The police confirmed that the teen died from his injuries on Monday. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are underway.
